Archetypal branding, based on Carl Jung's work, is already central to brand building. What is less known, though well-documented, is that Jung used astrology in his clinical practice to gain a deeper insight into human psychology. Astrological archetypes offer a natural and more granular extension of the core Jungian system. They provide a rich symbolic language to develop your understanding of brand personality, aesthetics and voice.

 

This method provides: 

  • a rich symbolic system directly linked to established psychological frameworks 

  • an almost infinite palette of archetypal combinations, each offering unique insights for brand positioning, messaging, visual identity and customer experience design

  • a direct correlation with 12 Jungian archetypes

  • a toolkit for defining a brand's core energy and emotional tone, using a blend of archetypes and techniques (planets, asteroids, elements, modalities, myths, aspects, houses, etc)

When you merge Jungian and astrological frameworks, you unlock 144 possible archetypal combinations (12 signs × 12 archetypes). But even that’s just the beginning. Each blend can be further refined through other elements of the system and symbolic nuance.

 

Astrological archetypes enable highly personalised brand messages that go beyond basic demographics, helping you create brand stories that stand out in crowded markets.

HOW MY METHODOLOGY CREATES DIFFERENTIATION

To truly illustrate the depth of my system, I've developed this detailed illustrative example of how even within a single Jungian archetype like the Hero, astrological layering can create three vastly different and highly differentiated brand personalities.

 

PHASE 1: IMMERSION SESSION - LEARNING THROUGH CREATIVE PLAY

My one-day immersion session is a creative deep dive that teaches the foundations of this system through play. I believe that the best way to learn is to have fun while doing it so there is very little PowerPoint and sitting at a table. Instead, we will use vision, movement, touch, texture, music and sound. ​

I use:

  • Vision boards to explore 12 star sign archetypes, turning abstract concepts into tangible visual narratives

  • Movement to embody the four elements, three modalities and planetary aspects, connecting physical experience with energetic principles

  • Textures and touch to forge a direct and intuitive connection with planetary symbolism and its inherent qualities

  • Sound and music for further anchoring of each archetype’s emotional tone, creating lasting emotional resonance 

The immersion session equips your team with the rich, foundational tracks of my framework. But just like a raw recording needs a master engineer, consistently translating those insights into breakthrough, emotionally resonant brand ideas requires ongoing expertise and fine-tuning.

PHASE 2: CREATIVE RETAINER​​

After the session, we continue working together for 3-6 months (length and frequency tailored to your needs). You bring your ideas, creative direction or brand concepts-in-progress and I bring an unexpected archetypal lens to spark fresh perspectives.
